Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) is the flagship health assurance scheme of the Government of Odisha, providing cashless healthcare to approximately 3.5 crore people of Odisha.
Key Features
- Coverage: Covers approximately 96 lakh families (about 3.5 crore individuals).
- Annual Coverage: ₹5 lakh per family per annum for secondary and tertiary care. Women members get additional ₹10 lakh coverage.
- Cashless Treatment: Available at empaneled hospitals across India.
- BSKY Smart Health Cards: Issued to all eligible families for identification at hospitals.
Covered Treatments
The scheme covers over 1,000 medical procedures including surgeries, therapies, and medical treatments at empaneled hospitals.
